Connect Create Cairo: Build a City with History and Technology
Curated by: Zulfikar Hirji, Associate Professor, York University
The exhibition takes you on journey through Cairo’s distinctive urban landscape and architectural heritage from the 9th to the 18th centuries. The exhibition provides inspiration for 3D printing workshop participants who design and 3D print a model residence for the exhibition’s centerpiece – an architectural scale model of a section of one of Cairo’s historic urban districts.
